:shakefist: So.. I drew this somewhat morbid fearful picture and showed it to my spouse who thought it was a naughty but cheerful scene. So.. I guess I'll have to explain.

Years ago I had this dream:

I was the leader of an adventuring party, and one night we were broke again and laid down to sleep under a big tree, when I woke up I was alone in an overgrown mossy grove. Shortly the large fighter of our party appeared, and displayed shock, amazement and joy at my awakening. It seemed the rest of the party had been awake for weeks. We soon gathered most of the party together, our thief, our adventurer, but not alas our mage, who they all told me was lost. I refused to believe this, so to convince me my fighter friend turned into a dragon (no he couldn't do that before) and flew me to where the mage was. There were two female ... somethings with him and he laughed and laughed and declared that at last he was perfectly happy with the world and turned away, into what had been in the past a luxurious palace of some sort. I screamed and cried and the world darkened around us, but my fighter friend held me pinned to the ground so that I could not follow and our mage entered the building which collapsed upon him and swallowed him up. My friend carried me back to the grove where our adventurer was bidding fond farewells to a dryad. Everyone pretty much said I told you so, and we all laid down to sleep. When we woke up we were under the tree again, minus our mage. But the rest of the party insisted that the mage had left us months ago because we weren't making enough money. Our thief parted ways with us at the next crossroads, looking for more prosperous adventures. The adventurer met a lythsome young girl who seemed oddly familiar in the next town and decided to settle down. Only the fighter and I traveled onward alone.

Right, so, now you've had a look into the twisted mind of a :frog:.

:paranoid: :thanks: to :iconangelic-breaker: and :icondaystorm: for building construction assistance.

Very well done. I like the feeling of looking through someone else's eyes. :)

Sometimes, it is best left to the viewer to interpret the image, but the story is very interesting...leave it to the guy to think something naughty is going on...*eye roll*

Either way, a very lovely piece!
